Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I look forward to the cooler weather and enjoying time spent with family.

One of the great things about Halloween is sharing and community building. We hope to open our home up to be inviting and welcoming.

Decorating for fall and the holidays is exciting. My entry way is the focal point to welcome neighbors and friends to my home.

To get into my holiday planning I start with Pottery Barn for some design inspirations. I found some ideas for my entryway, living room and table.

Having flameless lights and mixing in different metal lanterns makes this eye catching. Along with layering with other decorations like pumpkins or hay to change the look.

I find that if you don’t have steps, not to worry. You can always give your entryway height by using plant pots you already have.

Another fun idea is adding a bit more festive layering with sofa throws and Halloween decorations. Adding shapes and textures will add special design touches and is also cozy for those movie nights.

This Halloween table set is the right tone for children to get excited about. These platters come into play as serving dishes or candy platters. Pottery Barn has a wonderful selection to choose from.
